Born in South of France, photographer Lucie Rox now lives and works between London and Paris. Her work, which goes across fashion, beauty, portraiture and landscape, often explores Black womanhood as well as the relationship between light, shadows, movement and colours she carefully crafts in the darkroom.
Her commercial and editorial clients include British Vogue, Dazed, i-D, Pleasure Garden, Sixten Journal, Loewe, Givenchy, Fenty, Farfetch, Mulberry, Net-A-Porter and more.
In 2019 Lucie’s work has received gallery recognition & has been selected to be part of “The New Black Vanguard” exhibition at Aperture New York & the Sixteen Journal Retrospective at Oddity Paris. Same year she self-published ‘SIGNS’ a collection of photographs shot in Japan. In 2021, Lucie Rox self-published WATER••COLOUR, a personal project exploring beauty imagery.
